Peter Hajittofi - Managing Director

Peter is an experienced Managing Director and Business Development Manager with a wealth of experience in broadcast automation. He is one of the few people in the industry who can claim to be working on his third generation automation system, having previously worked for Louth as European Managing Director, and before then at Logica, who pioneered one of the very first broadcast automation systems. Peter holds BSc and MSc degrees in Dynamic Systems Engineering and is a chartered engineer. Outside of his work life, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Ian Cockett - Technical Director

Ian came to Pebble Beach Systems with many years of experience in the transmission and news domains, having worked on software projects in the broadcast industry for over 17 years. Ian is well known for his unique problem solving abilities and for his amicable work manner. Ian joined Pebble Beach Systems from Louth, where he was the European Technical Manager. Ian has also worked as a consultant for companies such as Reuters, NTL and The Walt Disney Company.

Julian Hepworth - Software Development Director

Julian is a computer scientist with a first class degree from York University and substantial experience in the broadcast and film industries. His software development skills are exceptional and prior to working for Pebble Beach Systems he was instrumental in the development of many products for companies such as NTL, Abekas, Louth and the BBC. At Pebble Beach Systems he is the chief software architect. Julian's big claim to fame is that he developed the real-time animatronics control software for the film, "Babe - A Pig in the City".

Paul Hatcher - New Technology Director

Paul joined Pebble Beach Systems from Snell and Wilcox where he was a member of the advanced MPEG systems group. Prior to Snell, Paul worked for Sony. Paul is responsible for all of Pebble Beach Systems' hardware technologies, and also contributes to the development of new software technologies. Before joining Sony, Paul worked with Julian Hepworth on the animated movie "Babe - A Pig in the City". Their system is also used on the popular BBC children's programme "The Tweenies". Paul gained his PhD in advanced computing from York University. He also holds a first class BSc degree in Computer Science.

Tom Gittins - Sales Director

Tom joined Pebble Beach Systems as Director of Sales in June 2006 and since then has developed business with many key customers such as SVT and TV4 Sweden, YLE Finland, numerous CME stations in Central Europe and the Associated Press. Before joining Pebble Beach Systems Tom held various positions with Leitch, who he joined in 1997, as Regional Sales Manager for Northern and Eastern Europe, UK Sales Manager and finally Head of System Sales, where he was responsible for major project sales across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to his time with Leitch, Tom worked with Ampex Corporation as Sales Manager in the Recording Media Division, where his career in the Broadcast Industry commenced in 1988.

Phil Moore - Projects Director

Phil joined Pebble Beach Systems to handle the ever increasing number and complexity of projects being secured by the company, bringing with him many years of experience in the Broadcast industry. Phil joined Pebble Beach Systems from Aston Broadcast Systems where he was a member of the Management Team and gained extensive experience in sales, support and product management. Prior to his time with Aston Phil worked on System integration and OB design at Midwest Communications having initially gained extensive broadcast training at PyeTVT. Phil holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
